James Cameron is a well-known filmmaker, environmentalist, and vegan advocate. He became vegan in 2011 after watching the documentary “Forks Over Knives” and learning about the health and environmental benefits of a plant-based diet.
Since then, Cameron has been an outspoken advocate for veganism, promoting its benefits for human health, animal welfare, and the environment. He has even produced a documentary called “The Game Changers,” which explores the benefits of a plant-based diet for athletes.
Cameron has also been involved in several vegan initiatives and projects, such as investing in vegan protein companies and promoting the adoption of vegan diets in schools and hospitals. He has been vocal about the impact of animal agriculture on the environment, stating that it is a major contributor to Climate change and the destruction of natural habitats.
In the interview with CNN, Cameron explained that he doesn’t like to use the word vegan because it has ‘negative connotations.’ Previously in an interview with GQ, he spoke about how he came up with the term “futurevore” as an alternative for vegan.
“I tried to come up with a good term for it because vegan has all those connotations,” he told GQ.
